We met at The Ragazzi Room on May 14 to catch up on everything we'd done in the past month, and talk about what's coming up. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, June 14 at 7 PM, and we'll be watching An Inconvenient Truth.

- Welcome to LA Oxfam Action Corps!
We're a nonpartisan volunteer group in Los Angeles, taking on the fight against global poverty and social injustice, in association with Oxfam America and volunteers in more than a dozen cities across the US.
Right now, we're focused on drawing attention to the impact of climate change on the world's most vulnerable communities, as part of Oxfam America's Climate Change Campaign.
For a proper introduction, check out our introduction. You might also like to read our summary of a letter which Rep. Henry Waxman will present to the House of Representatives later this summer. Although it is not an official Oxfam America communication, it does hit several of the key asks of our campaign.
